Random Summer Phone Pictures!

Here are a bunch of cell phone pictures from the past month or so.  I still don't have a digital camera so I have to make do with my cell phone!  Again, blogger uploaded these in random order and I don't know any easy way to rearrange them that doesn't take forever (if you know, please tell me!) so the order is all over the place!

Playing basketball in our driveway!

I had Brandon and Charity's girls over for a sleepover.  Cousin time!

Hopefully I will be able to post about our week long trip to Maui with my family before the wedding.  We had so much fun and I have so many pictures!  Stay tuned!

Heber City Parade and Rodeo!

A couple weeks ago we went up to Heber with the Lee family for a BBQ, parade, and the rodeo!  I absolutely loved it!  I love parades and I love rodeos and who doesn't love a BBQ?

Here are some pictures from that day!

Bridal Showers

I was lucky enough to have two bridal showers.

The first bridal shower was at the end of July and planned by my new landlord.  It was a bunch of ladies from church, Kyle's mom, and my mom was able to be there!  They were so sweet and had the cutest framed pictures of Kyle and I.  The food was great and everything was decorated in red and blue!  I got tons of gifts for my kitchen, which I LOVED!

Here are a few pictures from that shower:

During the shower the bishop and a bunch of people were parading around the horses for the ward Rodeo the next day.

It was fun for everyone to go see the horses!
Spoiled with gifts!

Yummy food!

My second bridal shower was planned by my dear friend Lauren and Kyle's mom!  We had it Kyle's parents house and we got to have my my friends from work, best friends, Kyle's family and friends, and some of my own family!  It was fun to have my aunt Marilyn, aunt Cindy, cousin Bevany, and grandma Ruby come.  It was so beautiful, and again I was spoiled with kitchen stuff!  (needless to say the first thing I did when we moved into our new apartment THAT EVENING was set up my kitchen!)  The pictures from this shower were taken by Lauren who is an amazing photographer!

I am so grateful for everyone who took the time to come and celebrate me getting married!  YAY!  I do have to say, I am so bummed that I didn't get lingerie.  How sad is it to not get lingerie, isn't that what bridal showers are for?!  That's not true, my future sis-in-law did get me something and it's beautiful!  I LOVE her for that!  But really, I was so spoiled and am so lucky to have been given two bridal showers by such great people!  Thank you everyone!

Camping at Currant Creek

This past June (I know, I am SO BEHIND!) Ayla and I got to go camping with Kyle's family at Currant Creek.  They go every year and Kyle loves it.  I remember when he went last year and I HATED it because he was without cell service for a week!  This year, I loved it.  I had so much fun with the Lee family, sleeping in the trailer, riding the 4-wheelers, eating yummy camping food (aka good dinners and LOTS of junk food), fishing, shooting, etc.

It was so beautiful up there.  Being up in the mountains with so many trees actually made my heart happy.  It reminded me of where I grew up.  And not having any cell phones or computers for that week was actually really great.  It was so fun to be able to connect with Kyle and Ayla and everyone else with none of those distractions (addictions) that are always there.

Like Brynn (age 7) said to her grandpa while we were up there, "Sometimes it's good to just have time with your family."  Yup, it sure is.

Here are my pictures from that week.  These are in no particular order.  I don't feel like going through and putting them in their correct timeline.  :)
